Four Tips for your monologue:
1. Read the entire play.
2. Use a Shakespeare Lexicon to look up any words that aren't familiar.
3. Re-write the monologue in modern language, and practice that monologue to discover the intentions and emotions you need to express.
4. Alternate reading and then performing the monologue in the original and contemporary language so that your performance conveys a complete grasp of all of the text.
